No vacation Blog today :(
I did however save 59.00 at the grocery store in coupons....Which means I got out of there for 109.00 and enough food for the next 3 weeks....now remember I didn't buy any meat this week because I have a freezer full from recent sales...
And on another note. Mike took Andrew to the ER the other night. ( it was just croup) anyway apparently every time a dr or nurse entered the room he started crying. Andrew isn't usually afraid of Dr's so Mike was confused. So Mike finally asked him what was wrong. He looked at Mike and said but I don't want them to make me have a baby. See we have been talking to Andrew and Iz about how in a few months I will go to the hospital and the Dr's will help me have a baby and we will bring it home. He's gotten to see an ultrasound etc and apparently he assumed that they would make him have a baby too...lol

Vacation Day 4 - Sea World
So we headed out early to make it to the opening of seaworld. The first show we hit was Clyde and Seamore take Pirate Island. It was a really cute show, and the kids did really good waiting on it to start.
Mike and Andrew waiting on the show to start.

Photos of Shamu
We then headed over to see the penguins. Yes they were cute, but boy did they stink. It was almost too much for my pregnant nose to take!
Lastly we headed over to see Blue Horizons (Dolphins). Again I took a lot more photos (I took like 200 total for the day) but there are way to many to post here :). Iz loved this show...I think she liked it even more than the Shamu.
Lastly we stopped and had a photo Op at this fake shamu. The kids really enjoyed the day. It was really hot though. Iz got very upset for a bit because the have these huge roller coasters in the park. After she rode the mini roller coaster the day before she was very upset to learn she was about 20 inches too short to ride these...I promised her at some point we'd come back and she could ride them....in a few years that is :)

Vacation Day 3 - Magic Kingdom
We had reservations for breakfast at the crystal palace in the Magic Kingdom. I scheduled it before the park actually opened, so we got to enter the park at 8am instead of 9am.
Iz was super excited to see the castle
Iz spotting the castle
We stopped on our way up the street to get a photo of us with the castle...I have some with me in it, but I haven't got the photopass cd in yet :)
Mike and the kids in front of the castle
We then headed to our breakfast. For those who have not been, the crystal palace does character dining. We were supposed to see Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, & Pigglet. We however did not get to see Piglet. He was about to come to our table when they started a dance around the room followed by a character break, the kids were ready to go, so we'll just have to meet him next time.

After having breakfast we headed over to the rope drop at Fantasyland. The first ride we hit was Dumbo. Both of the kids loved it! Neither was scared about going all the way to the top.

Andrew and Mike riding Dumbo
We left Dumbo and hit Pooh, then Snow White (which in my tips book said scared young children, but my kids didn't bat an eye), then over to peter pan. Iz insisted we needed to ride the ponies...
Iz, Me, and Andrew riding the "ponies"
After riding the ponies we went and rode It's a Small World...
Mike and the kids riding It's a Small World
After that we headed over to Tomorrowland to check out the Buzz ride. The line wasn't very long, but since Andrew is a huge Buzz fan we grabbed a fast pass to use later and jumped in line. Both of the kids loved this ride!
Andrew and Iz in jail with Zurg
We then went to check out astro orbitor, but the wait was 45 minutes....too long for me. So we headed over to Stitch's Great escape. Andrew and Mike rode it while Iz and I rode Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. It was really cute, and the joke of the day: How do you make a tissue dance??? - Put a little boogie in it :)
By this time we were able to use our fast passes, so we hit Buzz again and then decided to head over to Toontown.
The only ride we did in toontown was the barnstormer (mini roller coaster) Iz was able to ride, which proved to be a problem....which I'll explain later.
We then jumped on the Train and rode around to Frontierland. It was getting hot by this time, and it was crowded (which it was Saturday so that's to be expected) so we hit Pirates of the Caribbean and then headed to Casey's for hot dogs.
Andrew on the train
Isabel on the train
After lunch we decided to head back to the hotel for a break. On the way out we saw Chip and Dale
Isabel and Andrew with Chip and Dale
The kids were so worn out...they fell asleep in the stroller at the bus stop
After a break in the room (and in the pool) we headed to the poly for dinner at 'Ohana. They served us way too much food, but we had fun trying to eat it all.
Iz at dinner, eating her noodles.
Andrew at dinner, notice he loved the chicken wings.
Mike at dinner
Upon returning to the hotel We decided to dig into our pretzel rods from the previous day. They were awesome. I am going to try and make some here this winter....mmmm I can't wait!
Lastly...this is how the kids fell asleep....it was a long hot day...normally its in the 70-80's during this time of year, but lucky (or unlucky) us it was in the 90's all week...no rain, but really hot and humid :(
Tomorrow - off to Sea World :)

Vacation Day 2 - Downtown disney
We got up and moving pretty early and ran over to the shoney's for breakfast. Iz ate nothing but bacon and cheese sauce.
We made it to our resort (Caribbean Beach Resort) around noon. We planned it this way so we would check in early and would hopefully beat the 3pm check in rush. It worked. It took about 5 minutes for us to get checked in and get our welcome packet. We also got "My 1st Visit pins" and "Happy Anniversary pins". Mike and I wore our Anniversary pins every day....I have never had so many people (cast members) wish me a happy anniversary before....it was kinda cool.
After unloading the car in the room we hopped a bus to downtown disney for a snack.

Mike and I split a roatbeef sandwich from Earl of Sandwich. Andrew wanted nachos...so him and Iz split those.

Vacation here we come :)
Day 1 -
Well really this was day 1/2 of vacation. Mike didn't get off till noon, so we decided instead of driving 10 hours on Friday that we'd drive halfway when Mike got off work and then drive 5 hours the next morning so we could have time to rest and gear up for the full day's ahead.
Mike got home around 11 and we finished loading up the car. We truly packed enough that if we would have became stranded we could have lasted for days. The kids were very excited as were the adults. We drove to Walterboro, NC and stayed the night in the econolodge. Not our normal hotel, but it worked for the night.
I made some yummy sandwiches for dinner and the kids enjoyed a picnic inside the room. There really isn't much else about Day 1 to share.
Well other than apparently the room we were assigned was a hanging place for some band of painters/construction workers. They had backed up their truck and were tailgating in front of our room : Thankfully they didn't stay around for long...but it was hard keeping the kids out of the window...pointing at the men saying mama what are they doing...are they having a birthday party !!?!? Yeah fun right ...lol

15 weeks and loads of stress
At my last appt my BP was high, which for me is odd because my BP is never high. In fact it was taken the week before I found out I was pregnant and was well within normal and at 7 weeks was perfect too. I attributed it to the fact that it was at our 11 week physical in 07 that the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat, but told us not to worry because we were getting an ultrasound that afternoon. Turns out all was not ok, so I figured that was a big part of it.
The appt went ok, but the nurse again couldn't find a heartbeat. This time instead of doing an ultrasound she said since I had one the week prior that she'd just have me come in in 4 weeks instead of the normal 6 (like that was supposed to ease my fears or something.
Back to today I had the follow-up appt. Again I was super worried that something might have went wrong, so again my BP was high (145/71) So now my OB decided to do some base bloodwork and do a 24 hour urine catch (whoo hoo right!) We are hoping everything is ok, and our trip next week is not affected!
Anyway back to the appt, so she pulls out the doppler and goes to find the heartbeat, she assures me that she probably won't find it (thanks to scar tissue and flab ...lol) but that if she doesn't she'll pull the portable u/s machine in. She searches and I swear she's trying to dig into my old c-section scar, no heartbeat. So she goes and gets the portable u/s machine and before she starts she says I hate this machine it never gives good pictures. so she looks and again...nothing.
She says lets pop down the hallway and do a regular ultrasound. So we trek down the hallway kids in tow to the u/s room. Now the naval hospital has strict policies regarding u/s and kids. Kids are not allowed in the room for any reason (or that's what the flyer on the door says. But alas, my kids are allowed to come inside and sit in chairs.
The u/s tech goops me up and low and behold there is the little heart just flickering away. Can you see why my BP is high?!?!?!
So thankfully I feel much better and much more relaxed. So I head to the lab to do my blood work. We get finished and head home. We arrive home and the phone rings. They apparently drew my blood into the wrong tube (again....this makes twice this pregnancy they used the wrong tubes) so now when I go in to drop off my urine I have to have another set of bloodwork done. Thank goodness I have good veins :)
oh and if you haven't subscribed to the bloggeronie~please do :)

13 weeks down
The weather is going crazy...80 one day then a low of 31 the next. No wonder my allergies are going haywire. Andrew had a soccer game this weekend. He did so good! We previously had a problem with him pushing other kids, but after a long talk and no ice cream after the game I think he finally got the idea that it isn't football.
